General overview of Midwest Health Plan

Midwest Health Plan is a for profit, licensed Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) based in Dearborn, Michigan. Midwest was licensed in 1998 and has maintained an "Excellent" accreditation status since 2009 by the National Committee on Quality Assurance. Midwest has over 90,000 Medicaid enrollees in Wayne, Washtenaw, Macomb, Livingston, Oakland, and St. Clair Counties. Members are entitled to, and are provided with the same services, benefits and conditions as traditional Medicaid.
